SportsWareOnLine Updates – March 2025
The March SportsWareOnLine update brings the powerful Appointment and Task features from the Web app to our Mobile App.
1. Appointments.
a. Athletic Trainers can Add, Edit, Delete, Confirm, Unconfirm, and Search Appointments.
b. Athletes can Search and View Appointments. (We will be adding the ability for Athletes to schedule appointments).
c. Appointments can be exported to your phone’s Calendar.
2. Tasks
a. Athletic Trainers can Add, Edit, Delete, Close, Unclose, and Search Tasks.
b. Tasks can be exported to your phone’s Calendar.
c. Tasks can open associated records.
3. The Injury Listing Screen displays color-coded injuries based on the length of time since they were last reviewed.
4. All Listing Screens have “Dim” functionality that can be enabled/disabled via the Filter pop-up.
a. Appointment: Dim = Past Appointments.
b. Tasks: Dim = Closed Tasks.
c. Athlete/User: Dim = In-Active Athletes/Users.
d. Injury/Treatment/Concussion: Dim = Closed/Hidden Injuries.
5. Alerts can open the associated record
Calendar

1. When you login, SportsWare displays your Dashboard. At the top of the Dashboard is your Calendar. The calendar uses Green and Brown dots to indicate you have open Appointments or Tasks for a given day. 2. The current day is selected by default and highlighted in red. If you select a different day, it is circled in blue. If you re-select the current day it is circled in red. 3. When selecting a day, the Appointments and Tasks list the number of open items for that day. 4. You can scroll the Dashboard or Hide the calendar to provide more room to view Appointments and Tasks. |

Filters 1. Appointments can be filtered by the Type (Normal Appointment, Game/Practice/Event) and the Sport (for Game/Practice). 2. Events can be filtered by Open/Closed. |
Appointments

1. When you show the Appointments list, SportsWare displays a list of all Appointments for the selected day and their Confirmed status. 2. Appointments with ATC, Coaches, or Athletes are Green (confirmed) or Red Unconfirmed. 3. Games and Practices are Blue. |

Swipe Right Commands 1. To open/edit an Appointment, Click the Appointment or swipe and click Open. Note: Only the person who created an Appointment can edit it. 2. When an Athlete schedules an appointment with an ATC, it is Unconfirmed. Swipe and click Confirm to confirm the appointment. The tag will then be Green. |

Swipe Left Commands 1. Click Export to export an Appointment to the Phone’s calendar app. 2. Click Delete to delete an Appointment. Note: Only the person who created an Appointment can delete it. |

Add an Appointment 1. When Adding an Appointment, SportsWare asks if this is a Normal Appointment with an ATC, Coach, or Athlete or if it is a Game, Practice, or Event. |

When adding an Appointment you can select: 1. The Start/Stop time. 2. The ATC/Coach or Athlete the appointment is with. 3. If the Appointment is confirmed. 4. If an email message notifying them the selected ATC, Coach or Athlete and appointment has been scheduled. |

Add an Event When adding an Event you can select: 1. The Date and Start/Stop times. 2. The list of ATC’s and Coaches to attend the Event. Multiple people can be assigned to the event. 3. The If the Appointment is confirmed. 4. A Description of the Event. 5. The Sport associated with the Event. |
Tasks

1. When you show the Tasks list, SportsWare displays a list of all open (not completed) Tasks for the day. 2. You can view Closed Tasks with the Filter option. |

Swipe Right Commands 1. To open/edit a Task, Click the Task or swipe and click Open. Note: Only the person who created a Task can edit it. 2. If a Task is linked to a SportsWare record, e.g., an Injury record, you can swipe left and click the Record button to open the linked record. 3. Click Close to Close (mark completed) the Task. |

Adding a Task from the Dashboard When adding a Task from the Dashboard you can select: 1. The Start/Stop time. 2. The ATC/Coach or Athlete the Task is Assigned To. |

Adding a Task from a Listing Screen 1. From the Listing Screen swipe left. 2. Click the Task icon. 3. SportsWare will display the Add Task page. The bottom of the page will also display the Athlete Name and the Database the Task is linked to. 4. When the ATC opens the task, they will be able to click the Open icon and SportsWare will automatically open the Injury record for them. |
