This article is aimed at giving highlights and basics of CSMi's revamped SportsWareOnLine mobile app, which is releasing in waves in Late Q1 of '24.

  2. Along the bottom, they can navigate to the Athlete listing, Alerts, TeleHeatlh Chat feature, or get assistance in the Help menu,
  3. The Alert icon displays the number of unread alerts for the user.
  4. The Chat icon displays the number of conversations with unread messages.

Athlete Listings

  1. Clicking into the Athlete listing will show a list of all Athletes the logged-in user has access to.
  2. Tap the + symbol to add a new athlete, D to duplicate, - to delete, and the pencil to edit/view a full record.

Athlete Record

When tapping into a full athlete record, you will see their status values at the top, which are color-coded as red, yellow, or greenYou will also see the most recent injury and related treatment.

Viewing and Editing Records

Right below the Injuries and Treatments group, you will see the Evaluations group. Within this section are the most recent Concussion, COVID-19 (iOS only), and PHQ-9 evaluations. Farther down the record’s screen you will see Medical Information, Insurance Information, and Emergency Contact Information. To see even more information about a particular record, click the Pencil icon in the top right corner relative to the record you're trying to view. This will open the full record to view and allow updates to be made. The pencil icon is a consistent value across the SportsWare Mobile App just as it is on the Browser based edition.

To see more than the latest record from each of the databases available within the mobile app, tap on the hamburger menu (3 horizontal lines in the top right corner). You can then choose between the following databases: Injury, Treatment, Concussion, COVID-19, or PHQ-9. Tap on the record you want to view so it's highlighted in gray, then click the Pencil icon in the top right corner.

Please view the video embedded at the bottom of this help article for a visual walkthrough of this process.

Adding a New Record

Quickly add a new record by tapping the + icon next to the type of record you’d like to add. When adding a new record you will see the same information fields that you do when using SportsWare in a browser on a computer.

Swipe along the tabs towards the top of the page to see all available pages when adding a record.  The tabs are General, Notes, Background, Pain, Attachments, and Audit. Once you are done, tap the checkmark in the top right corner of the screen. This is another consistent feature within the updated mobile app. To save changes to a record or selected choices, you must hit the checkmark symbol in the top right of the screen.

Please view the video embedded at the bottom of this help article for a visual walkthrough of this process.

Tap on the Alerts (Bell) icon at the bottom of the screen to see a list of events that have occurred in the system to trigger a system alert. These can be set up using the Desktop application. You can filter alerts using the symbol circled in red to the right.
To mark all alerts as read, click the filter symbol, then tap the “mark all as read” button.

To open an existing conversation and send a new message, tap the Filter symbol. Then, toggle the “Read Conversations” option and tap the checkmark in the top right corner. Now you will see all existing conversations.
Next, tap on a conversation so it’s highlighted gray, and tap the pencil icon in the top right corner of the screen. Now you can send a new message or review an existing conversation.

To send a message, type the message in the text input field and then tap the + symbol to send the message. Using the return button on your keyboard will add a line break.

Within the conversation window, you can also initiate a video call with the participants. This video call is not recorded in the system, but a record of the call being initiated will be displayed within the conversation log.
