How to Use Notes Permissions

SportsWare allows you to assign permissions to users so others cannot see their notes. This is important for health center or school psychiatrists. 

Set up Notes Permissions:

You will need to first start in Picklist>Multilevel>Permissions then name the permission(s) you would like ie Health Center, Psychiatrist by clicking add, typing the name, and clicking save. 

Once you name the permissions,

Navigate to Admin>User and select the user you would like to give a permission to and click edit

Select Assign Permission Access and select the permission you would like to assign to them and click save. 

Log out to make changes effective 

Using Notes Permissions:

After you have assigned the permission to a user and you are ready to input a note you need to make sure you are selecting the permission before you are typing the notes. 

After you navigate to the Notes tab, you need to click add+ first then select your permission on the next page before typing the note. 

Type your note and click Save. Only people with that permission will be able to see the note. 

When you are done typing your note click save.
