Generating Standard Reports

Generating Standard Reports

Standard Reports are available by clicking on Reports in the left hand side bar, then clicking Standard.
There are 6 sections on this page to determine what data is in the report.
1. Select a Database and Report
First, select a database. Ex: Athlete
Next, Select a Report. Ex: Record (All)
2. Select Groups and Sports
Narrow your data by Groups and/or Sports
TIP: Multi-select items by holding Control/Command while left clicking an item with your mouse.
3. Date Range
Select your From and To date, or use the buttons to select records from Today/This Week
4. Inactive Athletes
Toggling this to Yes will show data from athletes who have been marked as inactive on your account.
5. Filtering Criteria
Select the database under the Database: box.
Then select a Field in the next box to narrow the data. Example: Use ID or First & Last Name to show records for an individual athlete instead of everything. (You have to select these Fields one at a time and cannot use the multi-select trick mentioned above.)
TIP: To scroll down quickly, click with the mouse to highlight the word "Active", then press the I key on your keyboard. This will scroll the list down to the first option beginning with an I.
You should be able to see the ID field now. Select in by clicking it. Then click the + Add button.
Next, you have to select the parameters of that filter. For the ID field you would most likely leave it as "is equal to" and then under the Select Match box you will select the Student ID # you want the data for. Another example of how to use the Criteria drop down would be to select "is between" and then use the Multi-Select trick mentioned above to choose 2 numbers to get the data for athletes in a range.
After creating your filter criteria, click the Add Custom Filter button. Your filter options will now show in the Report Filter: box right above your selection(s).
6. Save/recall
If you did a lot of customizations to the report, you can give it a title in the Report Name field, then click Save As.
In the future, when you want to run the report again with the custom filters, select the name from the Existing: dropdown list then click the Load button.

After setting everything up, click the Preview or Print buttons in the top right of the screen.
Preview allows you to save the report in a few different file types.
Print allows you to Print the report out or save the report as a PDF using your system's print dialogue box.
